Reykjavík has a growing coworking culture with spaces catering to various industries, from tech and creative startups to marine innovation and social enterprises. Most coworking spaces offer flexible setups, including hot desks, private offices and access to community events. The atmosphere is informal and collaborative, with English as the primary working language in many hubs.

If you prefer working from cafés, Reykjavík Roasters (reykjavikroasters.is) and
Te & Kaffi (teogkaffi.is) are popular among freelancers for their strong coffee and laptop-friendly environments. The National and University Library (landsbokasafn.is) also offers a peaceful space to work, with public access to desks and wifi.
