Universidade de Caxias do Sul (UCS)
UCS (Universidade de Caxias do Sul) is a not-for-profit institution of higher education with the mission of promoting a thorough academic education.
It offers undergraduate and graduate courses, masters and doctorate programs. All courses offer grant opportunities, with scientific initiation scholarships provided at all levels. The Innovation Agency of the University (UCSINOVA) is the supporting structure focused on research, innovation and technological development aiming at social, cultural and scientific advancements. UCS also offers technological services and consultancy in agriculture, biology, health and tech, with the purpose of contributing to the innovation boost of the region and the country. With its focus on sustainable development, UCS was also ranked among forty-seven Brazilian institutions in the Impact Ranking 2023 assessing universities’ performances in compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), achieving the best result in SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).

The average of values for both undergraduate and graduate courses is R$1,200 (US$235).
Entry Requirements:
The UCS Vestibular has a weekly selection by using the ENEM score or previous UCS examination writing test or by taking an online writing test. It applies to undergraduate courses, except for medicine. The graduate programs have a selection system according to each program.
