It is decentralized with ten campuses located in different cities in the region. From undergraduate to graduate courses, a wide range of fields are covered, including arts, social sciences, health sciences, engineering and natural sciences. Popular programs include computer science, biotechnology, agronomy, medicine and veterinary medicine.

Unipampa offers scholarships to students from low-income families or to those who demonstrate academic excellence. Prospective students must comply with the specific entry requirements for their chosen course and campus. The university also offers educational opportunities to help with personal self-development, such as workshops and seminars that are open to the public, not limited to enrolled students. These courses cover various topics, including language learning, entrepreneurship, arts and culture.

Unipampa receives funds from the federal government of Brazil, where students do not pay to study.

The selection process is organized by the Brazilian government and assesses the student’s grades in a general test at secondary school level.
