Discover the top six coworking spaces in Luxembourg
estled between Belgium, Germany and France, Luxembourg is at the cross-section of innovative ideas. With a national character of openness, dynamism and reliability, Luxembourg has opened its arms to a variety of talent from all over the world.
Populated by a large community of local and international talent, its coworking spaces host a diverse range of innovative and creative types that hold great economic and social potential.
Here are six of the best spots in Luxembourg City where you can get work done, all of which are featured in our Startup Guide Luxembourg book, should you want to read more about them.
1 – 1535º Creative Hub
📍115, rue Émile Mark, L-4620 Differdange
Located in a disused steel-processing plant, 1535º Creative Hub is occupied by more than 60 small businesses. Far from a traditional coworking space, its offices are allocated based on a company’s cultural and social worth.
2 – Bamhaus
📍18A/18D rue de la Cimenterie, 1337 Luxembourg
Located in the heart of industrial Dommeldange, Bamhaus is a haven for those established in the arts and media industries. With ambitions to be an affordable creative melting pot, Bamhaus encourages the use of shared space and an open atmosphere, where new collaborations can form and existing ones can flourish.
3 – House of Startups (HoST)
📍9, rue du Laboratoire, L-1911 Luxembourg
With reference to its name, HoST was set up to house a number of incubators, accelerators and startup consultancies. As the CEO Karin Schintgen puts it, “hosting key actors in the Luxembourg startup ecosystem under one roof will allow ideas and innovation to flow freely.”
4 – Lux Future Lab
📍59 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg
Established in 2012 as part of BNP Paribas’ new approach to corporate social and economic responsibility, Lux Future Lab gives the Luxembourg startup scene a boost to cultivate change. Comprised of three interconnected row houses and four floors of various spaces, it currently hosts 30 startups and 100 people.
5 – The Office
📍29, Boulevard de la Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, 1331 Luxembourg
The Office is located in a building that, prior to being transformed into a stylish coworking space, was once a parking garage. The space still has remnants of its old character. Cofounder Gosia Kramer says they wanted to preserve “some kind of garage feeling in the building to replicate the startups that began in a garage, like Apple or Amazon.”
6 – Paul Wurth InCub
📍5, rue de l’Industrie, 1811 Luxembourg
Founded in 2016, Paul Wurth InCub caters especially to startups working in the industrial technologies sector. The idea was to create a place where entrepreneurs working in these fields could work and exchange ideas alongside experts, potential clients and investors.
Just so you’re aware of how we selected these spaces in Luxembourg, we sorted through nominations from the community before a local advisory board helped us curate the final list.
