There’s so much going on in Nairobi it’s hard to stay abreast of all the events, markets, concerts, launches and parties. The Nairobi Expat Social Facebook group is a good place to find other newcomers to the city and see what’s going on. Running groups, yoga studios, artists’ spaces and golf courses abound. Take a look at meetup.com/cities/ke/nairobi as a starting point for groups related to your specific interests. There are some lovely green spaces for walking, cycling and simply breathing, including Karura Forest and Ngong Hills.
