We’re a tech-based university providing top-notch higher education in technology, informatics and telecommunications.

Founded in 2005 and accredited in 2006, the Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) is a tertiary institution specializing in technology. It offers a variety of qualifications in three faculties: Engineering, IT Business, and Computing and Information Systems. The BSc Business Admin (Management) degree has intake periods each September and January and has a substantial IT component, preparing students for a modern business climate in which business and tech are integrated. It aims to nurture its students to become successful entrepreneurs or business managers capable of transforming innovative ideas into profitable businesses.

The tuition for the BSc Business Admin (Management) degree ranges from GH₵1,500 ($270) for Ghanaian students to GH₵1,250 ($230) for international students. In 2020, the Ghanaian government passed the Ghana Communication Technology University Bill, which allows the Ghanaian government to take over management of GTUC. This development will potentially impact the fees structure, possibly making it more affordable for students and contributing to GTUC’s growth and expansion. The college has strategic partnerships with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Anhalt University in Germany and higher learning institutions in the UK and US. GTUC also offers access to a language center where students can improve their English and other languages useful to their future careers, as well as a center for professional development that provides practical training in a host of areas.
