Sector: Sector-agnostic

We create an innovative ecosystem environment where companies, entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses and students connect to learn, share ideas, solve problems and network.

The G5 Business Makers Program launched in 2018, when it started hosting its Meet the Professionals events to bring together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, business owners and students to discuss challenges and work on solutions. “At the G5 Business Makers Program, we believe in people and the tremendous contribution they can provide to their workplaces, startups and companies to reshape our companies and society,” says founder Christian Kitumaini.

Its scope has expanded since then, but events remain at the heart of the G5 Business Makers Program. To date, it has organized fourteen business summits, which were attended by more than 1,200 guests. The program is not a cohort-based one, but a renewable membership system that features a competitive selection process. To assist companies, it provides access to business mentorship, networking opportunities and market linkage for lead generation opportunities. Professionals looking to launch their own businesses are also welcome to join. G5 works with businesses from any sector and has a focus on helping its members to tackle three of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: 8) decent work and economic growth, 9) industry innovation and infrastructure and 17) partnerships for the goals.

Christian says that the G5 Business Makers Program is unique and extremely valuable to both entrepreneurs and aspiring founders, as it puts a premium on mentorship and networking. “We provide mentorship to help you build a sustainable business and to become an innovative changemaker and leader in the industry,” he says. “We also help you become part of a network that helps your business build long-lasting relationships.”
