Fundação Escola Técnica Liberato Salzano Vieira da Cunha focuses on providing professional education on a technical level. 

It has 3,504 enrolled students from more than fifty municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul. Its evening professional education courses offer technical training in chemistry, mechanics, electrical technology and electronics, along with training in safety at work, automotive maintenance, interior design and internet computing. They last five semesters and total 720 hours of internship. Spaces for art, audiovisual and sports-cultural learning are also available, along with a library and laboratories. 

Its Liberato Incubator offers challenges such as Desafio Impulso, a pitch competition that discovers research projects and other innovative initiatives that can be developed into new startup ventures. It encourages the students to be conscious and committed citizens that support the development of an ethical, sustainable and responsible society.

Nearby Transit Connections: 

Close to BR 116, a longitudinal highway that starts in the municipality of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará and ends in Jaguarão. Buses run from cities such as Novo Hamburgo, São Leopoldo, Ivoti, Sapiranga and Dois Irmãos.

Price of Tuition: 

After a socio-economic evaluation, the candidates are classified in a scholarship range, which can start from a total exemption to a maximum tuition fee of R$1260 (US$255) per month. 

Entry Requirements: 

Incoming students are selected on the basis of an academic entry test.
