hile the startup scene in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region is small, entrepreneurs are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding inspiring places to work.

From cozy lounges to outdoor terraces, Frankfurt’s coworking initiatives have ample space for all kinds of collaboration. We’ve compiled a list of the best coworking spaces Frankfurt has to offer - all of which can be found in our Startup Guide Frankfurt book.

📍 Mainzer Landstraße 33a, 60329 Frankfurt

For those who operate outside of the regular nine to five, BEEHIVE is a relaxed coworking space that can be booked at any time, 24/7 (subject to availability.) Here you’ll find a bright, open space with a variety of private work offices, meeting facilities and recreational areas with cozy lounges and arcade games.

📍Otto-Meßmer-Straße 1, 60314 Frankfurt Eastside

At CoWorkPlay, parents do not have to choose between family and a career. With work, events and children’s areas, all placed within easy proximity of each other, CoWorkPlay allows for freelancers, startups, parents and non-parents to come together. As a member of this space you can benefit from a broad startup network, as well as the support of local experts.

📍 Karlstraße 22, 65185 Wiesbaden

This light and airy flex-desk workspace is equipped with a cafe and offers coworkers all they need to create, but its true goal is to deliver much more than that. The heimathafen concept is based around the founder’s “six C’s”: coworking, conference, cafe, community events, connect (the hub has a partner-matching platform), and consulting – for corporates looking to partner with innovators.

4 - HUB31

📍Hilpertstraße 31, 64295 Darmstadt

Opened in 2018 as an addition to the Darmstadt ecosystem, HUB31 was built to help technology startups achieve their goals. The space sports a shared workshop and an open laboratory for DIY entrepreneurs to help companies develop and test their products,

📍Neue Mainzer Straße 66-68, 60311 Frankfurt

Opened in September 2018, the Frankfurt location of Mindspace occupies five floors of the Eurotheum building in the heart of the city’s business district. Mindspace works to make their space a home and community for members, mixing coworking with fun activities such as networking breakfasts and personal well-being courses, as well as workshops and skills training.

📍Falkstraße 5, 60487 Frankfurt

Social Impact Lab is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2011 with the express aim of bringing young migrants and social entrepreneurs together. Inside this bright and modern space is a selection of open desks, private rooms and meeting facilities where individuals – all driven by the same common values – can cross-pollinate their ideas.

📍Neue Rothofstraße 13-19, 60313 Frankfurt

Located in a chic shopping street in Frankfurt’s city center, WeWork’s modern decor is designed to match all moods or energy levels. With ample coworking facilities, the Goetheplatz location offers an indoor event space, an outdoor terrace for hosting barbeques, and a cosy lounge on the first floor.

Just so you’re aware of how we selected these spaces in Frankfurt-Rhine-Main, we sorted through nominations from the community before a local advisory board helped us curate the final list.
